I’d been doing other forms of meditation for years which only provided temporary relief to my everyday stress. I always felt like I needed something more. Something more healing.
When a friend from the UK introduced me to this method of subtraction, I was ready and so grateful this meditation exists.
This meditation actually helped me to witness my ego, my core issues, and really see what my human mind is.
When I started doing this meditation regularly, I was finally able to see the unnecessary #suffering of stress, #worry and drama that I created in my own mind.
I stopped being so reactive and angry about things that would normally bother me and finally understood the meaning of #acceptance.
I have been able to let go of anger towards my family and upbringing and have become more #compassionate and non-judgemental.
This method has helped me detach myself from the person I thought I was destined to be – stressed, anxious (which runs in the family), seeking external validation and thinking I was more valuable if I was ‘busy’ all the time.
Now that I’m not ‘in my head’ so much, I’m more #productive and take action instead of suffering in procrastination. I’m more consciously aware, experience more peace and have found that the more #grateful I am, the more good things come my way.
If you are #stressed, reactive, replay the past and future in your head or just want to get rid of unhelpful patterns and habits, then I’d highly recommend this #meditation.
Making this meditation a part of my morning routine has changed my life for the better.
